TSW-Uncovered will be merging with the Cry Gaia Network

Funny Story:

Little over a month ago, while we were getting ready for PAX East, the three of us had a sit-down to discuss the future of TSW-Uncovered. The reality of Funcom having just contacted us to run a contest at PAX East, and our podcast gaining a bigger audience had started to settle in. What started off as three friends just screwing around, because why not, was starting to get noticed. We found ourselves with a fairly big decision to make: either continue to treat the podcast as “amateur hour” or start to take things a little more seriously. Well we settled for something in-between

We tested the water to see if there was any interest for others to join our team (we managed to snag two amazing people), started discussing what additional content we wanted, the logistics, the finances of expanding our site, and all of this in the middle of the insanity that was PAX East prep. Then Nyte contacted us.

You know Nyte? Apis? Quest for the Flag? Dude who’s run the last few ARGs? Super Bowl Squares? Unconfirmed, but probably has Ragnar on speed-dial? That Nyte?

Yeah, that Nyte. And he, as they say, made us an offer we couldn’t refuse.

/y It is with great pleasure and excitement to announce that TSW-Uncovered will be merging with the Cry Gaia Network.

So what does that mean for the TSW-Uncovered podcast and site? Just a relocation really. We will continue to do the podcast on a weekly basis, the only difference is that you’ll have to go to crygaia.com to listen to it. All of our plans for new content will still happen, just over at CGN now. The new website isn’t quite ready, but believe me, you’ll know when it is.

Our new team members will be joining us over there, AND some of the old CGN contributors will be sticking around, AND we have more new people who will be joining us in the coming weeks. Crap, how big did this just get?

In a more serious tone, we are genuinely honored at the opportunity that Nyte has given us. To say we were stunned when he came to us is an understatement. While we may joke around constantly, we’ve always had the strongest respect for CGN and all those who have contributed to it. We have not always been perfect, and even though we have certainly made our fair share of dumb mistakes, it still blows our minds of the trust Nyte is giving us and that this actually happening. We are truly grateful to become part of this legacy.
